Benefits Of Infused Water or Detox Water

Infused water is nothing but water which is infused with fresh fruits, herbs or vegetables. Hydrating our body from inside is very important especially in summer. Infused water is easy to make at home and has lot of benefits and gives you extra hydration with more nutrients. It also gives you clear and glowing skin. In summer we will take sugar beverages which can leads to health issues and dehydration. Drinking infused water which contains sweet fruits had added bonus nutrients without extra calories.

How To Make Infused Water

I prefer to add fruits, one vegetable and herbs so that we get all the nutrients at once.
Select your favorite fruits, vegetables and herbs, slice your fruits and vegetables, crush herb to extract flavor.
make thin slices of selected fruits

Take a glass jar add all slices and herbs .
add all the slices to glass jar, grate ginger if you want to add

Now add water.
Keep it in refrigerator for at least 4-6 hours or overnight.

Best time to prepare and drink is if you are going to work prepare water in morning and keep it in refrigerator and drink it when you are back from office. If you stays at home prepare it at night and drink in morning when you feel thirsty.

My favorite combination of infused water is Apple and Cinnamon.
If  you had a hot day and want more hydration try this combination
        Watermelon + Cucumber + Lime/Lemon + Mint
